SOPISDEW Oral Dental Campaign

 

The society for the Promotion of Initiatives in Sustainable Development and Welfare on the August 1, 2021, drew a curtain to the second phase of its Oral and dental health campaign. 

During the meeting which was attended by SOPISDEW staff and the Vital care medical team, the Executive Director of SOPISDEW Mr. tah Kenneth Konsum congratulates the team for their effort to see that the community of Bamenda benefit from the Oral dental campaign and SOPISDEW stand on impacting the community.

Speaker to the Gong237, the project manager Ngong Derick outline that the project whose objective was to reach out and treat 1000 inhabitants of Bamenda with dental issues in three sessions is very much on course to be achieved. “we started this project having in as an objective to reach out to at least a 1000 people, as of now we have been able to reach a number of 924 and I can confidently say that by the third phase, our target number will be surpassed”

Summarily the total number of patients registered and consulted in the second phase of the campaign stands at 563 as compared to the first phase which recorded 202 persons. The third phase of the campaign is expected to be in October.
